The General Company for Southern Electricity Distribution / Basra branch/ announced today, Wednesday, that several electrical stations have gone out of work in the governorate.
The Basra branch informed, in a notice to it, that "infrastructure works were carried out by the (Ababil) Engineering Contracting Company from the Education Bridge to the Tweisah intersection in the center of Basra, which led to hitting the 400 KVI line, i.e. No. (1), corresponding to 132 KVI, and putting it out of service."
It explained that "the hitting the 400 KVI line by the engineering company caused 9 stations to go out of work, while feeding them at a rate of two hours of operation and the same amount of shutdown."
