/11 /terrorists arrested in different parts of the country

The Anti-Terrorism Service announced today, Sunday, the arrest of 11 terrorists in separate areas of the country.

The Service Spokesman, Sabah Al-Numan, said in a statement: “Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, and under the supervision of the head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahhab Al-Saadi, the heroes of our Service carried out a series of operations in different regions of the country.”

Al-Nu’man added: “Our units in Kirkuk province have begun to carry out the duty of arresting two wanted persons and inspecting and destroying seven guesthouses for ISIS terrorist gangs,” noting that “as part of our operations in the central region, several operations were carried out in the provinces of Baghdad and Al-Anbaa, which resulted in the arrest of two terrorists in Baghdad and three in Anbar province.”

He continued: “As part of operations to maintain coordination and cooperation with the Sulaymaniyah Asayish Directorate and the Anti-Terrorism Regiment in Sulaymaniyah, four wanted persons were arrested in different regions of the province, one of whom holds the position of Emir of a terrorist group in the ISIS gangs.”

Al-Nu’man noted: “The operations of the Anti-Terrorism Service continue day and night to track down the remnants of the terrorist organization wherever they are in order to reach a safe and stable Iraq free from terrorism.”/ End
